The refractive index of Zinc sulfide (ZnS) is uniform and consistent, lt has a good imagetransmission performance in 8000 nm-12000 nm wave band. The material also has ahigh transmittance in mid-infrared, but with the shortening of wavelength, absorption andscattering will increase.
