Magnesium fluoride(MGF2) optics

Product Description

Magnesium fluoride (MGF2) is a birefringent crystal with high hardness, strong resistance to mechanical shock andthermal shock. lt has excellent broadband optical transmiltance and can be used for UV and mid-infrared transmissionlts transmission of DUV makes it ideal for applications in hydrogen-Lehman lines, UV radiation sources and receivers, andexcimer lasers. Macnesium fluoride is a powerful material that can be used to resist chemical corrosion, laser damagemechanical and thermal shock, lts knoop hardness is 415 and the refractive index is 1.38.
